We were traveling to visit Poplar Forest and spotted Charley's. What luck! This place is a gem.
There is a large area for outdoor dining, a menu with an amazing selection, mostly good service, and great food. For lunch we had the catfish sandwich (excellent, on a perfectly toasted bun) and the chicken salad platter, served with fruit, a roll, a crispy she'll and sherbet.
Hannah was a friendly server and was very helpful. One tiny quibble: she was a little late with a drink refill on a sunny day. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we'd come back in a heartbeat.

Food was great so was our waitress. I’ve been back often in the past 2 months. Nice environment to sit and talk while you wait or while you’re eating.
