What a great experience! We had a wonderful waitress and the food was delicious. Coming from Chicago, I think if the prices were DOUBLED it would still be a good deal! I got a 12 oz prime rib with two different horse radish variants, a salad and a side for $20! That's unheard of! Highly recommended!

We were traveling to visit Poplar Forest and spotted Charley's. What luck! This place is a gem.
There is a large area for outdoor dining, a menu with an amazing selection, mostly good service, and great food. For lunch we had the catfish sandwich (excellent, on a perfectly toasted bun) and the chicken salad platter, served with fruit, a roll, a crispy she'll and sherbet.
Hannah was a friendly server and was very helpful. One tiny quibble: she was a little late with a drink refill on a sunny day. Otherwise, everything was wonderful and we'd come back in a heartbeat.
